In 2011 right after college graduation, I was hired as a visdev character designer for Digital Domain’s, The Legend of Tembo feature animated film. I spent majority of my time helping create the sidekick to our main character. I created various surfacing and packaging guides for other departments. Unfortunately, after a year and a half of working there, the studio filed chapter 11 and we were all let go. I’m eternally grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Disney Legend, Aaron Blaise, as my mentor along with various Disney Animation vets. This project is now shelved, but please enjoy some initial visdev from what could have been. Cheers!
